Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION TO SPIRITUAL LEVELS

The Man Who Saw God Face To Face

The Parable Of The Smallest Tree
A tree stood alone in a field. It was the only tree. Each time people passed by the tree, they would say, “This tree is very tall.” One day, a farmer brought the seeds of other plants from several places, and sowed them in the same field. The seeds germinated, grew and became great trees.
After many years, people passed by and saw the former tree in the midst of the new trees, and they would often say about the former tree, “So, this tree is very small. Before, we thought it was the tallest tree in the world. Now, we know that it is the smallest tree.”
Comment: Many churches claim to be the best. But in spirit, what they call religions are nothing but multiplicity of idolatry. Many are practising the figments of imaginations, the fabrications of faslehood and the deceptions of the enemy.
Spiritually, many churches are stagnant. The worth of a church is never measured by its size, magnificence or population. The worth is determined by its holiness and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The worst thing that can happen to a person
is to have an ignorant reverend as a leader.
Stepping Out
I was born a catholic member. At about the age of 12 years of age, I joined the altar boys in serving mass. I enjoyed the whole engagement. It was blissful! I was proud to be a catholic member. People loved me and my Godly way of life. At a stage, I became the leader of the Altar Boys.
As God would have it, one day I happened to be present at Sabbath worship. I saw things in a different perspective. I began to see Angels, even till today. I met Archangel Michael, several times. I heard the voice of God. I heard the voice of Jesus. I visited Heaven, where I met Jesus and Michael. Then came another visit.
You can now understand why I was bold to remain in the Sabbath fold despite gossips, condemnations and criticisms of my former catholic members and admirers.
Till today, I still thank God for that change of environment. Imagine myself traveling across the Universe with Jesus. Recently, He took me to Heaven and showed me the Holy Trinity face to face. Soon afterwards, the Angels took me to the sun, and brought me back with a song of holiness.
Very importantly, I thank God for the wind of Holy Spirit that is gradually coming to the Catholic and Anglican churches. As Jesus said, I would that it were already aglow, even afire, everywhere. Catholic members should quicken the coming of the Holy Spirit. They should investigate, review and revive the Charismatic at the direction of the Holy Spirit. Indeed, there is so much work yet to be done!
I have even stepped out further. I have kept myself busy reading the sacred texts of world religions, because I seek the Truth, not religion or church. I now know that God is universal. He is not defined by a religion, neither delimited to it nor confined to a particular church as some religious leaders would want you believe.
I discovered that people drink a cup of religion and become intoxicated (proud), whereas God expects us to drink an ocean of divinity and remain quiet. Is it not surprising that people worship what they do not know, while their leaders teach what they are ignorant of? (They mix the little knowledge they have about God with their general ignorance, and claim to know the best).
Before you can know the truth about life, you must be bold enough to step out of yourself, out of your environment, out of your religion, out of your culture, out of your self-imposed limitations, etc. Jesus said clearly, “You worship what you do not know;” John 4:22 That means that people are doing the wrong thing or have misconceptions about God and life.
Why Many Who Are First Shall Be Last
When Jesus gave this prophecy, it seemed impossible and unrealistic. But today, it is fulfilled before our own very eyes.
This is what happened to make this prophecy fulfilled. Christianity was taken to Rome, during the Roman Empire. By the time it was being spread from Rome to the world, several changes had been made in it. Today, the new generation churches have read the Bible by themselves. They have discovered several unbiblical doctrines. They are busy and gradually restoring the right teachings. And the Holy Spirit is moving with them, confirming their way of doing things through prophecy, healing, deliverance, anointing, speaking in tongues etc. These manifestations have drawn away so many from the folds of organized religions, from year to year. Even those who assert, “I was born in so so religion, and I will die in the same religion,” are not left out.
You cannot hold a spirit. And Jesus said it clearly,
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3:7-8
Why People Should Seek To Find God
- It is sole purpose of life on earth for every person to seek and find God, and return to Him.
- You continue to reincarnate and suffer the cycle of birth, decay, diseases and death until you are spiritually mature. In the process, you continue to suffer disappointments, agony, hardship, etc.
- Evil spirits, demons, ghosts, mermaids and forces of darkness continue to manipulate and suffer people until people become spiritually mature. Consider so many deliverances or casting out of evil spirits going on on the televisions. We thank God for His works of mercy. Also, we thank God for the ministers He is using to do His work. Again, we thank God that people believe and seek deliverance.
At the same time, we must not fail to warn people that so much spiritual possessions and manipulations are going on in the world today, simply because people are not living the right spiritual life. When people become mature in spirit and in truth, the evil spirits cannot afflict them. All because Holy Spirit will be their everyday Companion and Defender!
- The rate of death is very high. People should find God to save their lives.
- Mankind are very much after worldly gains (materialism), which keep them in bondage.
- Increasing natural disasters, which can only be prevented by spiritual life and spiritual education.
How Soon Can A Person See God?
How soon you see God depends on the following:
- How earnest (serious) you are in seeking God.
Majority are not serious. They only believe. But believing is not enough. They make themselves ordinary members of the church and refuse to seek and know the Truth. Yet, they claim to be the best. Is this not self-deceit and hypocrisy?
You must make effort (strive) to find and know the Truth.
- The path you follow.
Some churches and religions are better in some respects than others. Some keep people standing still, without the members knowing it. Some mislead people into darkness. The true churches lead people to God.
- How consistent you practise the Truth and spirituality.
. . . Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:20-24
It is unfortunate that majority practice hypocrisy (insincerity) and still think that it does not matter.
- Who is teaching you about God.
There are many ignorant teachers, whom Jesus described as blind men leading blind people. There are knowledgeable teachers, who know the Truth. They teach very well, though they have not experienced it. The best teachers are those who have seen, known and experienced the Truth (God).
